Freddy Cole Sings the Great American Songbook at the RRazz Room

Full Price:
$40.00
Our Price:
$20.00

Just in time for Valentine's Day, spend an evening with Lionel Frederick "Freddy" Cole, the youngest brother of Nat "King" Cole. There are certain unmistakable similarities between the brothers' voices and, just like Nat, Freddy plays piano and sings, yet his voice is raspier, smokier and perhaps even jazzier. Freddy Cole is a nonpareil vocal interpreter of the Great American Songbook and a superbly swinging pianist to boot. Head out to the RRazz Room with your sweetheart for a concert to remember. Suzanne Westenhoefer was hilarious, we really enjoyed this show.

Rrazz Room - The maitre'd was very funny while seating us. I was not pleased that the two drink minimum ended up costing the two of us $48. $11 and $12 drinks for a comedy club?

I have seen her years before and she is funny, but her material was a lot more lesbian-based this time and not as open to all walks of life. As a straight person I felt left out on some of it and wanted to hear more comedy about just every day life that we can ALL relate to.

But she does have good stage presence, good delivery, and a nice rapport with the audience.

What words best describe Comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer? How about bold, bawdy, and just plain hilarious? Not afraid to ask tough questions that uncover the laughs underneath, Suzanne’s made a career out of telling the truth. And the truth is, life is funny. And now, Suzanne takes it to the road one more time with her new tour, Semi-Sweet. Whether you’ve seen her one time or twenty, Suzanne Westenhoefer’s new show for 2011 is not to be missed.

The iconic lesbian comedian has embarked on a crazy, all-new, heart-pumping, mind-bending, hilarious romp through heartbreak, comedy, life, love, and everything about couples un-coupling in the modern world. You’ve never seen Suzanne like this before! “I’m calling the new show Semi-Sweet because there’s a lot of sweet stuff to talk about…. and a lot of stuff that, well, isn’t.” says Suzanne. “The show is cry-laugh funny, and a little bit thought-provoking at the same time. It’s all about the changes that have occurred in my life over the past year. Some have been good… and some not-so-much. I thought the name Semi-Sweet captured that perfectly.”
