Mitch Fatel has been showcasing his talent to rave reviews for the past 15 years. In that time, his innocence and friendly demeanor have engaged countless audiences only to inspire surprised laughter as he catches them off-guard with his mixture of mischievous dialogue and off color comments. After numerous spots on both the Late Show with David Letterman and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Fatel has established himself as a comedic star. In 2006, he was awarded "Best Comedian" at the prestigious HBO Aspen Comedy Festival and in April of 2007, his half-hour stand-up special debuted on Comedy Central and subsequently ranked #6 in the 2008 Standup Showdown. *April 15, 2014 at 8:00pm: Yuri and Friends Present — Thai Rivera *
Hosted by Yuri Kagan, this show includes local favorites Lydia Popovich, Johan Miranda, Marga Gomez and Yuri Kagan.
Born in Phoenix, Ariz., Thai Rivera was raised in the smaller, more rural town of Casa Grande, Ariz. When he was 19, he moved to Las Vegas where he lived the true Las Vegas party lifestyle. Tired of the fast pace of Vegas, he moved back to Phoenix and settled into a life of boring office work. He quickly tired of the life as a cubicle dweller, and when he found his way to the local comedy stage, he knew he’d never be bored again.
After becoming a finalist in a local comedy contest, he knew it was time to move to a city where he could hone his act. He moved to L.A. where he has become a favorite with audiences, bookers and his fellow comics.
