Flat out, he is not funny. Not much of a show; just an hour of ramblings about sex and in a very derogatory, angry, foul-mouthed manner. He really paid no attention that the audience was not laughing and at several times, gasped at his crass remarks towards women. I have attended over 100 comedy shows and this was the all-time worst. 2 couples near us actually walked out in the middle of the show. Do NOT go see this show!

This show was an absolute waste of time. Instead of being entertained, I was disgusted by the tasteless and misogynistic remarks Tracy Morgan made. I was looking forward to this due to his character on 30 Rock, but was completely turned off by his lack of respect for the audience.

I would like a refund. Tracy Morgan is an angry unhappy spoiled ungrateful little dude. I can't believe he calls himself a stand-up comedian.

Description

Currently starring on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appears opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as “Tracy Jordan,” the unpredictable star of Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” In 2009 Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination for this role, in the Supporting Actor category; he has in four past years also been nominated for a Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The 30 Rock cast has also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Last year was another busy one for Morgan. First up was Kevin Smith’s Cop Out. In the feature, he starred with Bruce Willis as two cops given the grim tasks of locating a stolen baseball card to pay for a wedding, rescuing a kidnapped woman, and combating gangsters whose main goals were laundering money and elevating the death count in Brooklyn. Morgan also starred in the comedy Death at a Funeral for Screen Gems. The film, a remake of the 2007 British movie of the same name, also featured Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Zoe Saldana, and Danny Glover. The independent romantic comedy feature Nailed (from David O. Russell) in which Morgan also appears alongside Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal, was released in 2010. Next up, Morgan tackles the soon-to-be-released drama The Son of No One with Al Pacino and Juliette Binoche. The film has been selected to be a part of this year’ Sundance Film Festival.

Last summer Morgan made his animation debut lending his voice for Jerry Bruckheimer’s G-Force, a combination live-action/CG film. Morgan starred as “Blaster,” one of the highly trained secret agent guinea pigs dispatched to save the world. The film opened number one in U.S. box offices and was celebrated by audiences worldwide. This spring Morgan can be heard again in the animated adventure film, RIO, about a domesticated macaw that travels down to Rio De Jineiro.

Another milestone for Morgan was reached in 2009 with the release of his first book, a compilation of studied anecdotes and some of the more serious moments that shaped him and his career entitled I Am the New Black. He also headlined the famed New York Comedy Festival, which featured acclaimed comedians including Bill Maher, Andy Samberg and Patton Oswalt, among others.

As a stand-up comic who has headlined across the country, Morgan was first introduced to television audiences in his role as “Hustleman” on the hit comedy series Martin. He went on to join Saturday Night Live in 1996, where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as “Astronaut Jones” and “Brian Fellows.” After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series, The Tracy Morgan Show and voiced “Spoonie Luv” on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers. Additional film credits include Dimension Films’ Superhero Movie, First Sunday opposite Ice Cube and Katt Williams, The Longest Yard opposite Adam Sandler, the Wayans brothers Little Man, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Head of State.
