Two disclaimers: 1) I'm no expert on dance, let alone modern dance; and 2) we arrived late and missed most of the first of the three pieces.

The combination of the moody sets, moving music, and the exacting dancing that appeared effortless but impossible made for a great evening. The venue had a full house and many in the audience appeared to be dancers. The crowd (dancers and non dancers all went wild). A very enjoyable evening.

I really wanted to like this troupe. The first piece was enjoyable, the second was ho-hum and the third, Cobalt, was downright embarrassing. The dancers are very talented but the material they have to work with is lacking. If this is the best program they can put together for an international tour, I will pass in the future.

The first piece was one of my favorites ever! Fabulously well trained dancers, with spirit as good as their technique. Wonderful!

Fantastic performance. "Arenal" was my favorite piece, heavily informed by traditional Spanish folkdances.
