A six time winner of the Victoires de la Musique, France's premier annual music awards, she also won a Laurence Olivier Award in 2008 for her work on the London stage. A brilliant and passionate singer, Dessay is known for her interpretations of German lieder and French songs, which she'll perform at Davies Symphony Hall accompanied by pianist Phillipe Cassard.
