Darrell Hammond, best known as a long-running cast member on Saturday Night Live, headlines Cobb's Comedy Club. Hammond was a cast member from 1995 to 2009, longer than any other actor in SNL history. During this time, he performed more than a hundred impressions on the show, ranging from Bill Clinton and Al Gore to Donald Trump, Regis Philbin and Sean Connery. In addition to his SNL work, his credits include his own half-hour Comedy Central special, as well as numerous appearances on The Howard Stern Show. Darrell has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

It was exhilarating to see Darrell Hammond's famous impressions -- his Bill Clinton, Chris Matthews, Ted Koppel, Jesse Jackson, Sean Connery, and Donald Trump, as well as others Hammond never gets to do on Saturday Night Live, such as George W. Bush, Al Sharpton, John Kerry, and John Edwards -- up close and in person as he deftly interwove them into a series of funny stories. He's not only a master impressionist but a compelling storyteller as well. And he earned brownie points with the audience with his easygoing rapport and eager-to-please attitude. The performance of this underrated SNL star was a pleasure and a delight.

Actor/comedian Darrell Hammond fondly recalls his first taste of show business at age five practicing the impressions of his family members on the porch of their home in Melbourne, Florida. In his many years on Saturday Night Live, Hammond brought to life a cavalcade of politicians, media figures, celebrities and news. In addition to appearing in sketches, Hammond has been seen in a number of feature films and television shows. He appeared in a 7 episode arc on the acclaimed F/X series Damages. Other credits include appearances on the Law and Order franchise. Although it has been a dream come true for Darrell to have been a regular on Saturday Night Live, the next phase of things to come will be just as exciting. Hammond is a proud resident of the Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan.
