Born in Paris, Betty Roi is a French chanteuse who sings beloved jazz standards and slinky cabaret numbers in both English and her native language. Backed as usual by her lively Kingtette trio, she'll perform an array of familiar favorites at this show, including songs by Josephine Baker and Edith Piaf, each one carefully selected to evoke the love, longing and happiness of her Parisian roots. A former dancer, Roi's performances are big, bold and theatrical, crackling with a fluid physicality you won't soon forget. Learn More

It is rare to have such live theater experience where you are so close (physically & emotionally) to the actors and the play that you can become one with the show, wondering at times if you are watching a show or simply witnessing a reality in motion.
The intensity of the actors at times makes you forget the fine line between the stage and the play and we were ready for more at the end of the play. Thank you for making this experience a highlight of our day.
