Artistic director Carolina Lugo, her daughter Carolé Acuña and their talented company of singers and musicians bring the sultry and sensuous flamenco dance to vibrant life. Their show combines the pulsating sounds of footwork, song, castanets, syncopated hand clapping and guitar for a riveting display of this true Spanish art form. This award-winning ensemble has been providing Bay Area audiences with passionate performances for more than 15 years, bringing artists from Spain and abroad to appear with them. Peña Pachamama is known for its Latin American, Bolivian and raw food tapas and other dishes, plus wine, beer and specialty cocktails for purchase. Learn More

My friend and I both enjoyed this. Very professional and the pieces were all different which was cool. Some of the dancers really stood out. This is a new company and they do need to work on synchronizing their moves. It was obvious when they were slightly off (not in sync) and it happened often and on more than one piece. Overall, well worth the money (even full price). I will see them again to see their progression as a company.
