Smart, funny, everything good stand-up comedy should be! Liz Grant is my new favorite comic. It was insightful and clever. So many comics seem to just be talking to hear their own voices but this lady has something intelligent to say and I felt energized by her witty commentary. I laughed from start to finish. I will definitely go again and bring people with me. It's a great way to end a day of shopping in Union Square.

this show was hysterical!! there was so much great material, but the thing i liked most was that BOTH men & women were cracking up - not at all male-bashing, even tho it's a woman's perspective. When the show's over, you really feel that you LIKED Ms. Grant.
I'd pretty much call it pee-in-your-panties-funny, but we won't go into details.
Also, the time is great - a nice little hors d'oeuvre B4 a night out on the town, or it could also be the main event.

WOW! What a great show, all around! The atmosphere is quite comfortable, the fact that you can bring your own "whatever" in to eat/drink without being charged extra is perfect, the cost of the show is such a bargain, and of course the fantastic comedian Liz Grant delivered a spectacular performance. It really made for a delightful event!
Liz has a way about her that is so pure and real and hilarious! It always amazes me when a comedian can make such normal things like dental floss, a Fastpass, & a mattress nozzle so funny, which Liz does so well. This is one of the many talents that she portrays in her wonderfully thought out and executed comedy show that most can relate to at some level and appreciate and enjoy her genuine gift and comedic talent.

This was okay. She has talent and some good jokes. Further development would make this comedy show great. One side of the audience seemed to be enjoying it more than the other side.

I winced so hard my sides were aching! Liz Grant ROCKS! She nailed, with some good advice thrown in for free, what plagues us all in relationships. I was exhausted from laughing for the whole show! It was one funny winceful truth after another. The Clubhouse is also a great location and a fun venue, easy in and easy out. Unlike Lizs' past two marriages. She's a pro at holding the audiendce in AWE. Its always fun to watch a professional perform knowing everyone is having a great time. One thing I like too about Liz is that she is so genuinally-did I spell that right?-funny without being horribly vulgar. I recommend this show to all of San Francisco AND the entire Bay Area so we can all laugh and learn to date each other better ;)

What a hootinnannie...makes me feel way better about my ridiculous quest for Mr. Right.
Any Gal who has ever questioned their sanity in continuing to date, will certainly appreciate Liz Grant's Deja Wince. And from the sound of the audience, I think the Gents learned a thing or too while getting some laughs on our behalfs.
Liz Grant is a crack up and should be the star of her own, SUBurban/love/tales sitcom in the near future.
And the 5pm start time made it totally neat to eat after, and still have time to shop Union Square. If you are looking for a good excuse to help our economy, and patronize the artists, I highly recommend you catch Deja Wince for a lil' Deja Vous.

Liz is very funny on and off stage. The setting of the show is pretty intimate so we saw her get ready to go on stage and she chatted with us which was great.
Her jokes were really funny and she just exudes comedy. I would highly recommend it!
We went to the 5pm show on Saturday, which was great because we could have a nice dinner afterwards. Many shows are at 8, which generally forces us to have a quick and early dinner, 5pm worked out much better.

I think Liz Grant is very talented and her material is right-on. To have a better act, I think she should edit and tighten it up.

She did a good job in the performance dept., her delivery was consistent. I found the material interesting, but not particuarly funny, I only laughed a few times. It's a work - in- progress and needs a bit of editing. I commend her for her courage, she's very naked on stage.

Liz has truly terrific comedic timing, & has developed great material! It was interesting to see the show again (saw it 1st in early June), as she clearly 'tweaks' it ongoingly - a lot of new material. She had the audience going for the full 2 hours!

Enjoyed the show tremendously. Her style is very funny without being crude. The venue is small and you gotta love the BYOB policy.

Fun! Funny, thoughtful, thought-provoking, likeable, clean, laugh-out-loud humor that feels real-- as if those things actually happened in Liz's life. Great delivery, intimate, perfect for a 5pm small audience of 40 people.
Love the 5pm time! It was a hot day, she provided free ice water and granola bar in case we hadn't thought to bring our own drink and snack. Nice touch.
This was my first experience of Liz Grant and the SF Comedy College. I will become a "regular." I loved her show and the venue!

I found that the first half of the show dragged somewhat, but it livened up a lot later on. This performer is very talented. She does great imitations and has some very funny lines.

This performance is very absorbing. Ms. Grant is charmingly personal, so it's not just a string of mindless jokes. She welcomes us into her world, and manages to make us laugh and think at the same time. I wasn't laughing every minute because I was thinking, and it's nice to have that combination.
She is not a basher of men or relationships. The quirkiness of us humans is really the point.

What a great way to spend a late Saturday afternoon and a wonderful start to the evening. I think Liz and I have dated a lot of the same men, it certainly seemed that way. I found myself laughing out loud time and time again, doesn't get much better than that. And when she talked about the lips of a gay man, oh my - I know exactly of what she speaks! Had a splendid time and heartily recommend you go check the show out!

Liz was hilarious. Having been through my own relationship issues over the years, I could relate to most everything she said. This is a must see show and for the money it was the best entertainment I have come across for quite some time. Those that don’t know Liz will want to be on the ground floor of her arrival on the comic scene. Imagine in a few years being able to tell your friends that you saw her perform at the beginning of her career.

My college roomies and I decided to go to the city and spend the day. The comedy club is walking distance from the Powell Street Bart Station and shopping in Union Square, so that was a plus. Avoid walking on Mason as there is a ton of smelly people laying on the street. Only turn onto Mason once you are at the corner of the club. Yikes.
The show was...okay. My roomy from Sacramento thought it was good. As long as she liked it. We did pay for our tickets since we wanted to sit together. But what we should have done was "purchase" the free admission (paying just the handling fees), since seating is in a medium size room on a first come, first served basis.
I swear the room we were in smelled like urine.

I had the opportunity to visit my sister in California and she took me to see Liz Grant at a comedy club in San Francisco. It was awesome!!! Liz took ordinary things that would apply to you and me and brought out the humor in it as well as making it real to us. It was soo funny! I have to say I would not only attend another one of her shows I would highly recommend it to everyone! I was laughing so hard she made me cry, and I also snorted! LOL! Thank you Liz for being so real and funny! Lots of Laughs Josie Powell, Rogers Texas

Hilarious Experience... Ms. Grant exceeded my expectations... Her timing is spot on and her material funny and relatable. The other members in my group commented that they thoroughly enjoyed the show! The venue is a short walk from the Powell Street Bart Station, and has a club atmosphere without th bar noises. There are many food choices within walking distance of the venue location. The show is a must see and I will return again soon...

She's a new comic, so no, the name is not familiar, but definitely GO! She is HILARIOUS, with fresh material and impressions that are so dead-on, they're almost scary! Definitely bring the whole group of friends, they will all have a great time!

My friend and I had a great time at the show. Liz Grant was funny and gave it her all despite the small audience size. Both men and women can appreciate her observations and humor regarding relationships. I also liked that it was BYOB. And the time is good! After the show there are plenty of bars and restaurants to ease into a fun Saturday night.

Well done!
Very good show for the money. All indirect associations with G. Carlin are good. I'd write more, but my life is in a comedic panic as well!
Go to the show!

WOW!!! I've known Liz since we were 14 and she has always been a very funny gal. Coming in the door, I expected nothing different...but was I ever surprised by the HILARIOUS, LAUGH TIL MY FACE HURT, Comedienne that cracked us up until our sides split! If you have not seen Liz' show, you are:
A) Alergic to comedy
B) Broke (which in today's economy is understandable)
C) Holding a grudge against Liz for something that happened in High School. In which case you should go see a "shrink" and GET OVER IT!!
D) Un-aware that she is performing right in your own backyard (San Francisco)
Either way, GO SEE HER ACT!! It is the best bargain in the city and young or old, you will LOVE IT!!
Great job Lizzie...I'll be back with another group before the summer ends...CAN'T WAIT!!!

I went to see Liz because of the start time of 5pm. I love early Saturday evening performances (I get up at 6am Sunday for bike rides).
There was a small audience, and I was worried that I would have to laugh just to support her. No problem. She was professional and funny. And since I am currently dating, I could relate to a lot of the material.

Liz is very funny. Several of the set-ups were hilarious, and all of it was amusing and enjoyable. (We found her so entertaining that we talked about trying to convince her to join us for dinner afterwards.) I stopped at 4 stars only because I think the act should be trimmed a bit. But even as is, the show is well worth your time and money.
