What a beautiful night! The dinner was average, but the views of the bay was absolutely spectacular! Music was so-so. This is our 4th time on the Horn blower yacht, and this was the first time we paid the Gold Star price. It was worth it.Written on Dec 13 2008

More & nicer than expected... even with the fog blocking some of the sites! Everything was so nice inside, the food, the music, & the company, we bearly missed not seeing every last detail.Written on Apr 09 2007
Since the Golden Gate was shrouded by the fog, the Captain was even smart enough & experinced enough to add time cruising the south bay where we saw Giant stadium dearing a game from the water side!
Food & service were exceptional & the other guests were friendly & fun. Though a bit challenging when we hit choppy water, the dancing was fun & the group quite good. Note; definately NOT a singles thing = bring your own partner(s), at least the Sat nite we went.

The food and service were perfectly lovely. The ship was clean and pleasant and the live music was mostly Top 40 geared toward the more mature crowd but still pretty darn entertaining. The weather didn't cooperate for us... but the damp fog outside had a quiet romantic effect so we were still pretty pleased. As a Gold Star event, it was worth the money. Drinks were sort of pricy but the money we saved on tickets made it more affordable. All-in-all it was a fun way to relax and end the week -- but, if you're looking for a "budget" activity you might want to save this cruise for another time.Written on Apr 09 2007
(Also, remember that they pre-assign seating. My girlfriend and I booked reservations seperately to split the cost... and were inadvertantly put at different tables. The host, however, took care us of very quickly and we able to sit together without a problem.)
