This was a wild, fun filled evening. The "directors" were amazing and obviously very experienced at improv. My 17 year old son laughed like I haven't seen before! We liked it so much we wished we could come back the next night for the murder mystery improv show!

This is a great thing to do on a Friday night. The actors are talented, and the format allows for a lot of variation between performaces (I've been twice!). I liked it best when the director's asked for a lot of audience input (ie "where are they" or "what is the relationship"), but it was very good overall. The 'bar' inside is pitiful though (they had Becks and wine that the people behind the counter were unable to uncork without assistance), but if you go to Off the Grid in the parking lot on your way in you'll be fine.

I like these type of comedy competitions. All the cast members are talented and great actors! Many short scenes .Each director leads the actors in whatever direction they want the scene to go, may it be style, genre, characters, etc. Good way to spend your night

Description

BATS Improv presents one of the wildest and most unpredictable improv competitions ever. This format includes directors battling it out to guide their actors toward realizing a unique theatrical vision. Each director creates and sets the tone for the improvisers' scene, the end of which is voted by the audience as either a hit or a flop. The director with the most hits by the end of the night will win the coveted Director's Cup. But there's a catch - each director gets a total of only 13 minutes total to tell their stories—regardless of how many turns they take. Director's Cut promises to be a fast-paced, anything goes night of improv not to be missed! Directed by Kasey Klemm.
