Written on Aug 03 2012Had a great time and a lively audience always helps. I think there were 5 comedians before Nico Santos. There were no disappointments and most were as funny as the headliner. And you always gotta love the Goldstar deals!
Written on Aug 03 2012While not all of the comics were equally funny, Nico stood out as SPECTACULAR. We laughed so hard and wished his mom had joined him on the stage. Funny stuff!

Description
Nico Santos was born and raised in the Philippines and now calls the US of A home. Though fresh off the boat, he has assimilated to American culture rather quickly by living in California by way of Portland, Oregon. In just a short amount of time, Nico conquered the Bay Area comedy scene with his acute observations and quirky characters. He touches on his race, family and the queer dynamic among other things. Charming audiences all across the country with his sharp, sarcastic wit and outrageous sensibility, Nico has that rare ability to be crass and snarky while at the same time remaining completely likable. The SF Guardian has called him “perfectly inappropriate”, continually blurring the lines of what one might expect from him. A rising star, Nico has worked with some of the best names in the business including Bill Burr, Margaret Cho and Dave Chappelle and recently made his television debut on Showtime appearing on Pride Comedy Jam. He is also currently on tour with the Filipino Kingz of Comedy.
