One of baseball's best rivalries takes center stage once again as the Los Angeles Dodgers battle the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. On this day, however, both teams will be paying tribute to legendary trailblazer Jackie Robinson, with all players wearing the historic No. 42. The Dodgers are using a huge payroll to try and retake the NL West, with ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw and budding superstar Yasiel Puig leading the way. The Giants have their own designs on a division title, with catcher Buster Posey and top starter Matt Cain carrying the load. Learn More

This was a great low-key introduction to Kayaking and a good value for the price. The offer is a little deceptive since you're really only on the water for about an hour - the other hour is spent coordinating logistics for the large group to get people on and off the water. A little more "instruction" would have been nice - especially if one has questions about paddling technique, etc. Overall, a new fun way to see part of the city - especially on a warm sunny day in San Francisco - which can be more elusive during the summer months than we'd like.
Participants will be provided with an easy-to-use and stable kayak. Most participants want an extra-stable double kayak, although single kayaks are available for the adventurous. You'll also get a life jacket and, of course, paddles.
Be sure to wear water-resistant pants, a jacket to protect you from the wind, and shoes that can get wet. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a change of clothes and extra shoes in case you get splashed. Dress in layers, and bring a hat, sunglasses, sunblock and bottled water.
