We tasted and scored 7 wines including 2 barrel tastings from Crushpad clients along with wines from Australia, France, and U.S. chosen to demonstrate the different nuances of Syrah, impact of aging and barrel wood. Before the formal tasting, we tried two additional wines while waiting for the crowd to gather. Our group of 20 sat at tables of 5 for the tastings and enjoyed a cheese/charcuterie tray along with the wine samples. Lots of information was provided in a non-threatening way from professionals who clearly love what they're doing. Can't wait to attend the Wine Blending event in July using Goldstar.
