Comedian Michael McDonald headlines Cobb's Comedy Club with his wacky stand-up comedy. McDonald is best known for his 10 years on Fox's MADtv, during which time he created such memorable characters as eccentric kid Stuart Larkin, nerdy college student Rusty Miller, Marvin Tikvah, Mofaz the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man, and Bible Dude. He's also acted on Seinfeld, NewsRadio and Ellen, and appeared in all three Austin Powers movies. He directed and guest starred on several episodes of Scrubs, and wrote and directed several episodes of ABC's Cougar Town. If you are in need of non-stop laughter in your life, GO! All the comics had their own unique sense of style but shared a common quality...HILARIOUS acts! And Carmelita??? Always a great night out!!!! Frankie and his crew always put on a funny show. This was a birthday celebration, and it was such a good idea to see For The People Comedy show! There were some of us who have gone before and some newbies, everyone enjoyed it and was laughing all night! We even got to see Carmelita's music video premiere!!!! Too funny!Written on Oct 28 2011

Founded by San Francisco-based comedian Frankie Quinones, For The People Comedy is a collective of artists who share a common goal of producing colorful events fueled by positivity and laughter. Watch as this diverse group of top comedians comes together for a night of pure entertainment! The group also produces a series of variety shows which showcase an array of mediums including stand up, improv, music, art, and short films.
Frankie Quinones is a Bay Area favorite. He brings energy and originality to the stage with a fresh urban twist, and his character and musical parodies will keep you at the edge of your seat. Frankie has performed for our troops overseas and currently tours with the legendary Paul Rodriguez.
