This event was entertaining and educational. We try to attend as many installments of this yearly film series as we can. Mark Cantor's introduction sets the stage and provides the historical context for the film clips which makes them all the more interesting (even for a jazz neophyte like me).

Master archivist Mark Cantor’s rare film selections will delight longtime jazz fans and newcomers alike with outstanding historical jazz performances on film.
