The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco presents master jazz film archivist Mark Cantor's long-running hit series Giants of Jazz on Film. Screening clips from his extensive private collection of historical jazz films, and providing accompanying narration, Cantor introduces rare archival footage of Golden Age jazz legends ranging from the Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald to Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman and many more. Following tradition, this season's Giants of Jazz on Film series opens with a program of clips selected to showcase the breadth and depth of this amazing collection.
