Wonderful to see Chris Matthews in person in conversation with his good friend Phil Bronstein. I lose sleep making sure I watch his show, read his books, understand even partially some of the things he talks about, as he is brilliant, studied, curious, and a great reporter in the best ways. He says he knows this stuff because he "goes there" he "shows up" and looks for the little things that are sometimes forgotten and shoved into corners and lost. He brings them to light with his humor, his intelligence and sense of history. Hooray for Chris.
