How We First Met is a unique comedy experience that's good for a laugh whether you are single or coupled and it's a great date idea. Audience members can submit the stories of how they met and the audience votes on the winning tale. In the show, three couples will be interviewed live and have their story brought to life onstage through the magic of improv. This uplifting theatrical experience has enchanted audiences worldwide since 2001 and has featured a range of couples, gay, straight, conservative, liberal, married 50 years, and dating three weeks, all sharing a kooky crazy thing called love.

Lively! Fun! Dynamic! Intimate! Super funny! We've attended this several times in the past, and because it is comedy improvisation based on real couples' stories it is always fresh and new. One of the best things about it is that the real couples are up on stage being asked questions about their relationship, how they met, etc, and then the improv actors act it out right then and there. People say the darnedest things too--sweet, funny, embarrassing, intimate. Sure to invigorate any couplehood! A must see!

Description

Don't worry about being mocked or made to feel uncomfortable — the aim is to celebrate, not humiliate. Couple selection happens in two steps: an online vote to narrow down to ten couples for each night, and then audience voting at the show to select the final three. As an audience member, you are eligible to submit your "how we first met" story to be included in the online and audience voting process.
