As per the theater's recommendation, park in the Sutter/Stockton garage -- really cheap. We paid $2 for the 4 hours we were there.

Best to take public transit or walk. Be prepared for warm house as stage lights keep the audience warm.

About the Ticket Supplier: Jean Shelton Foundation

The Shelton Theater (Jean Shelton Foundation), founded in 1993 by Matt Shelton, is an extension of the (Jean) Shelton Studios founded in 1961. The theater hosts live performances of musicals, narrative plays, improv, poetry, solo performances, and concerts. Film screenings and contemporary fine art are exhibited as well. We provide artists with the creative respect they need and a venue within which to observe their works. There are two intimate venues of 74 and 60 seats. Literally thousands of performing artists have created works here and the energy of those creations gives the theaters an atmosphere of truth and power. Many have revealed the aches of their heart and the strength of their imagination on these stages.
