Sky did a fabulous job bringing the aging Diva to life. Madame was excellent! She told naughty stories and sang to the delight of everyone who was present.
The show however started late, 10:10 PM; and seemed a little short, ended at 11:15 PM.
There was hardly a bad seat in the house and only half of the seats were full. Even then, the Maitre d' managed to find one. He sat us far to the right off to the wings of the stage even though there were plenty of center stage seats left unoccupied.
I have noticed he does this often and I am wondering if he does it intentionally. If so, I do not appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Larry V

Madame with an e is one wickedly raunchy puppet show. It was great to see Wayland Flower's creation performing again with such sex obsessed vigor. She's more Vegas these days than Hollywood which is obviously due to the background of Madame's current partner Rick Skye.
Obviously, expecting Madame to be what she's been would be setting one's self up for disappointment. Wayland was a genius with an incredible voice and an unmatched performance quality. Rick also has a fantastic voice, but doesn't seem to have quite the mastery of puppetering down and at times sounds more like a drag queen than what you'd expect "Madame" to sound like.
That being said, he still does a fantastic job and the material is laugh out loud funny. A big surprise of the evening was the inclusion of Crazy Mary. This was some of the funniest material of the evening, possibly because Crazy Mary is less known and therefore has less preconceived ideas attached to her, Rick is able to make her more his own and she shines. Red pubic hair and all!!!
Ultimately it's just great to see Madame again. Hopefully she'll be back!!

Classic jokes told by a familiar favorite. I would recommend seeing Madame at least once.
