More Details About This Event: Jesse Blumberg, a fast-rising international star, is an artist equally at home on opera, concert, and recital stages. During the 2005-2006 season, Mr. Blumberg was presented by the Marilyn Horne Foundation on its On Wings of Song series in New York City.
He has been recognized in several prestigious national and international competitions. For the past two seasons he has appeared as soloist with the American Bach Soloists in Belvedere and Berkeley, California. This will be his San Francisco Bay Area recital debut. Program to include Schumann's "Liederkreis, Op. 24," Ravel's "Histoires Naturelles," Purcell, Vaughan Williams and Cipullo's "Another Reason Why I Don’t Keep a Gun in the House" Join us for a post-concert reception with the artist.
