The musicians were really impressive, but the program describing what they were playing was NOT readable in the dim light of the Herbst theater. I read the program AFTER I heard the music, and feel like I would have gotten MUCH MORE from the program if I'd known what I was hearing - specifically the twelve parts of "Beautiful lives of little girls". I tried to find this information, and more about Yamashita and his family online, but could only find a short biography of Yamashita himself. I wanted to know how old the children were who would be playing, and how they'd been trained/educated. This would have added greatly to the program. Please try to make the program and/or more information about the musicians available online at your site. Thank you!

If I knew classical Japanese guitar, I am sure that I would have liked this event, but it seemed very repetitive to me. Undoubtedly, his technique is excellent.

Liked having his children in the show.
