They are not what you would traditionally consider "stand-up comedians" and I do not think this show in such a format played to their strengths but it was very funny and entertaining.

Good times. Three quarters Scott to one quarter Kevin... left us wanting more Kevin of course, but he got babied since he "doesn't know stand up" Scott refrained from testifying, thank goodness. Guys were in fine form, cock, pussies and assholes!

I was a huge fan of "Kids In The Hall" so seen Scott and Kevin in person was AWESOME experience. Scott's stand up was off the hook and Kevin was so charming with his famous weird body language and voice. If they come back to SF/Bay Area again, I'll be there in a heart beat!

Description

Scott Thompson and Kevin McDonald are best known as members of the famed sketch-comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall. After being discovered by SNL’s Lorne Michaels in the late eighties, the Kids in the Hall television series ran from 1988 to 1995 on CBC in Canada, and on HBO and CBS in the United States.

Scott Thompson has appeared as a regular for three years on the revolutionary comedy series The Larry Sanders Show as Brian, Hank Kingsley’s assistant. In addition, he played a recurring role as Elliot the dog baker on NBC’s Providence and then in 2001 produced and co-wrote the Showtime documentary Uncle Saddam. He has also appeared in such feature films as Run Ronnie Run, The Pacifier and Mickey Blue Eyes. Thompson along with fellow writer Paul Bellini is the author of Buddy Babylon: The Autobiography of Buddy Cole, an outrageous memoir of one of Thompson’s most famous characters, Buddy Cole.
Kevin McDonald founded The Kids in the Hall with friend Dave Foley, after they met in Toronto at Second City. In the troupe's television series and stage shows, he portrays several popular recurring characters, such as the King of Empty Promises, Sir Simon Milligan, and Jerry Sizzler.

McDonald went on to appear in a variety of films including Boy Meets Girl, Lilo & Stitch, Lilo & Stitch: The Series and Epic Movie. On television, he has appeared on The Martin Short Show, Ellen, That '70s Show, Seinfeld, Friends, NewsRadio, MADtv, Arrested Development and Corner Gas. McDonald has also done voice work for various animated series, including Nickelodeon's Invader Zim, The Angry Beavers, Catscratch, and Clerks: The Animated Series. He appeared in the music video for "Roses" by Outkast, and made an appearance in Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job.

In 2010, The Kids reunited to star in the IFC miniseries The Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town.
