The Kinsey Sicks, America's favorite dragapella beautyshop quartet, present their hit holiday show Oy Vey in a Manger. Rachel, Winnie, Trixie and Trampolina are trying to sell off their manger -- yes, that manger -- before it's foreclosed upon. Crises arise, secrets are revealed, Jewish-Gentile tensions surface, and mayhem ensues -- all in glorious four-part harmony. With songs like "God Bless Ye Femmy Lesbians," "Satan Baby," and "'I'm Dreaming of a Betty White Christmas," they blend fabulous singing with campy and outrageous humor. Billboard Magazine calls them "one act that should not be missed" and The New York Times has praised their "voices sweet as birdsong."

Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra Plays Schumann's Cello Concerto

Full Price:
$25.00 - $67.00
Our Price:
$12.50 - $33.50

British violoncello soloist Steven Isserlis and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, under the baton of conductor Nicholas McGegan, perform a trio of 19th-century works by that era's leading composers, highlighted by Robert Schumann's 1850 Cello Concerto. An award-winning cellist and educator, Isserlis is a noted expert on Schumann, and recently released a full disc featuring his works. Felix Mendelssohn's evocative overture from The Fair Melusine, based on a Goethe story, opens the program, while Brahms' Serenade No. 2 provides the stirring finale. The Philharmonia is now in its 31st season of entertaining Northern California audiences, and offers a discussion with Scott Foglesong prior to each performance. Learn More

Awesome event! We laughed until our cheeks hurt and were thoroughly impressed with the voices of these ladies! It's not for those who are sensitive to irreverent jokes about the Bible, but if you are willing to risk being struck by lightening, this is a excellent reason to take that gamble!
