Pretty funny show. I enjoyed the concept and the suggestions offered for "self-help" and would definitely recommend.

Started out really funny, but lost some energy as the performance moved along. The question/answer session had some great moments. This was the first preview night so with some fine-tuning this could be excellent.

Unique, unexpected and thoroughly entertaining! Thank you Kurt/Steve for not doing one of those ME-ME-ME solo shows, or for not couching it that way anyway. Excellent writing and acting. Highly recommended!

Fun send-up of self-help workshops and their leaders.

I especially liked how the pretend self-help guru, in spite of his positive attitude, was failing at real life.

If you've ever been to or considered going to a "self help" workshop, this show's for you! Based on actual real topics and practitioners, it had me and my friends in stiches. Actually my one friend who has been to too many such workshops seemed...continued

Kurt Bodden's show was very funny...a nice parody on self-help guru's who try to make others better while they have some of the same foibles as the rest of us. This is a light-hearted funny show that most adults will relate to, esp. if they have...continued

Steve Seabrook was a mixture of truths and total truths. That is... he kept me smiling and flat out laughing for 70 minutes with his spot on take on motivational speakers. I don't watch a lot of these folks but I knew enough to totally enjoy the...continued

I was very impressed with the writing of this show as well as the performance. It is an interesting look into the character of a motivational speaker. I particularly found amusing the various examples of vague analogies and cryptic story-telling...continued

Kurt did a great job making fun of the self help and self empowering industry. His delivery is right on and his personality shines through. Highly recommended.

To be seen and for people who have been "sucked" into motivational seminar, it is almost a laugh per minute.

Fun, entertaining show, with audience participation and some improv, so it will never be the same. Really enjoyed it and small, intimate theater adds to the experience.

Wonderful, wonderful performance. I went expecting an out-and-out parody, and was prepared for a fun, slightly mean-spirited spoof on a self-help guru. Instead, we were treated to a much more intelligent, truly funny take on this multi-billion...continued

Go! This is one of the best performances we have seen. We live in LA, see theater regularly and also lived in NY and have seen theater there as well. I share this only to give you an idea that we know good theater when we see it. We took...

Brilliant. So well done. Kurt is a gifted comedian who just NAILS the character of a self-help guru. At times, I was laughing so hard and didn't know if it was because what he said was so ridiculous or because it was (also) so true! As an audience...continued

So very clever. My son who is into these self-help gurus (ie. Tony Robbins) was able to laugh at himself. Do not miss his show.

Truly wonderful. So funny. My son was very much into Tony Robbins so I brought him. It was great to see him able to laugh at himselft. I don't want to ruin the surprise but you get a wonderful gift at the end of the performancy. I can't say...continued

Clever and inventive comedy with an edge, polished and funny, that mimicked self-help gurus very well. Small intimate theater with no bad seats. Very good interaction with the audience. A pleasant and engaging evening.

This is a really fun show. Anyone who has even been sucked in to attending a personal growth seminar will see that Kurt Bodden nailed the behavior, the buzz words and self-centeredness of numerous "gurus" who lead such seminars. He also did a...continued
