Actor-comedian Chris Kattan has had a great deal of comedy success on the stage, in films and on the small screen. The list of his most memorable Saturday Night Live characters stretches over nearly a decade on the show, including such favorites as Mr. Peppers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, Kyle DeMarco and Suel Forrester. His stint as half of the head-bobbing Butabi brothers, alongside fellow cast member Will Ferrell, saw him make the leap onto the big screen in 1998's A Night at the Roxbury. Also a former member of the world-renowned improv/sketch troupe the Groundlings, Kattan has continued to perform on stage, including headlining stand-up comedy events at clubs and theaters around the country. My wife literally begged me to leave throughout the "show', the only reason we didn't was that the room was small and lit well enough that it would have been awkward, so instead she took a nap and played on her iPhone. Imagine watching a power point presentation on the history of San Francisco, but instead of being delivered by a historian with expert knowledge, it's done by a stand-up comic who has to review a cue card to know what to say and seems to be performing for the first time. He fills time with random comments, songs, and what may be considered jokes, but fortunately ends after 45 minutes instead of the full hour.

Kurt Weitzmann has been making San Franciscans laugh for over 20 years and his new show makes historical San Francisco hilarious. Poking fun at everything from the Barbary coast to the Haight Ashbury, Kurt does the impossible -- makes San Francisco funnier than it actually is!
Ages 13 and up. Some racy humor.
