Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) directs the this brand new revue bringing the famed mid-1960s comedy albums of Grammy-winner Bob Booker (The First Family) to glorious life. This hilarious and good-natured collection of 25 comedy sketches and songs is woven around the story of a nice Jewish boy who happens to want to marry a equally lovely Gentile girl. First, though, the chosen shiksa could use a little introducing to some of the culture's colorful traditions. The show, from Danny Gold and Billy Riback, includes the huge hit song "The Ballad of Irving (The 142nd-Fastest Gun in the West)," and stars an ensemble cast led by Broadway vets Barry Gordon, Rena Strober and Jay Brian Winnick, along with Michael Pasternak, Ellen Ratner and Robert Shampain.
