Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nicholas Kristof has written compelling columns on such powerful global issues as human trafficking and poverty. He received acclaim for his coverage of China's Tiananmen Square democracy movement and for his reports on the genocide in Darfur. Kristof and wife Sheryl WuDunn co-authored the bestseller-turned-PBS documentary Half the Sky, an exploration of the oppression of women worldwide. He's currently on tour discussing his newest book A Path Appears, which shines a light on some of today's most successful local and global initiatives aimed at fighting inequality. The author will sign copies of his new book after the discussion. Learn More
Bisou ... french bistro on Market only one block from the Castro Theater is great for before or after dinner ... they open at 5:30 so before is no problem and after you'll see the hip Castro crowd up close and person. Food and service are really excellent !!Sal Khan -- Founder of the Khan Academy dining • Sep 05 2014 star this tip starred
We took the trolley up Market St. to the Castro. Which was a nice ride. Great for people watching and the street scene. The only draw back is full trolleys and wait time. If you have time it's a great way to enjoy the city experience.Office Space info • Aug 18 2014 star this tip starred

Good boy, bad girl. Brilliant moments in a strong 1st hour but became very self indulgent and sloppy in the 2nd. Veronica Klaus is a talented performer but who needs warming up when an hour of pure Joey would have sent everyone home on a cloud. Please come back solo with your amazing pianist Elliot.

Joey is a fantastic performer. Was so happy he came to SF. Have seen him many times in NYC so knew what to expect. The opening act was a bit much. Her musicians were top notch, but the singer wasn't. I could've done without the fashion show....continued
