Everything about her is charming. She mumbles and speaks fast sometimes, so she can be hard to understand, but I don't hold it against her; it's part of the schtick! Also I like that she speaks frankly about mental illness and helps to normalize it.

Maria was funny- when I could hear her. Which unfortunately wasn't very much. We were seated upstairs in the back of the balcony, and Cobb's doesn't have any speakers in that area. I thought it was just me at first, but my wife also had trouble hearing the show. Cobb's needs to improve their sound system. In the meantime, if you go, get there early so you won't be seated upstairs if you want to see the show.

Maria is super talented, funny and a very nice person. She stayed for a long time after the show to chat with her fans (with free hugs) taking a personal interest in each one.
