The classic comedy duo Cheech & Chong is reunited for a hilarious set that traffics in their trademark satire and counter-culture lifestyle. Written on May 13 2012It was not so much the choice of tunes--some not familiar, but her presence and voice that made the evening for me.
Written on May 12 2012enjoyed very much - relaxed performance, still sounds great, great material
Written on May 12 2012Maureen is a great singer and had a wonderful venue of songs. Really enjoyed. Nice seats too.
Written on May 07 2012I have been a long time fan of the great vocal talents of Ms.McGovern and have always enjoyed her song list versatility and great arrangements. However, this performance focused on music of an era that does not appeal to me and the original songs (some written by her musicians) were not memorable. Also, having problems with lyrics on three songs and not including any of her better known recorded songs were disappointments. I ADORE Maureen, but this show was not up to her standards!
Written on May 07 2012She is a wonderful performer but this performance, I felt, was even better than the one on Tuesday, May 1st. Even the lighting seemed better.
Written on May 03 2012Maureen has a beautiful voice with a lot of range and variety in her songs. At the age of 62, she is inspiring to us all.
Written on May 03 2012How is it possible that Ms. McGovern's voice sounds better now than when she first came on the scene 40 years ago? I stand amazed.
This was a great show. Loved the song selections, several of which were unknown to me, which is always a treat.
Her musicians are incredible! My only complaint is that Ms. McGovern's "patter", which is well-delivered, sounds very scripted.
Written on May 02 2012Maureen McGovern is not the movie theme-song has-been you might think. Hardly. She is a world-class song stylist with a buttload of artistic cred--still vibrant and fit, and at the top of her game. 20 great songs in just under 90 minutes. Simply breathless! (Set list follows ... With apologies for #12 and 14.)

2. Time and Love (Laura Nyro)
3. Up, Up and Away (Jimmy Webb)
4. When I'm 64 (Lennon, McCartney)
5. Sweet Dreams (Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart) / State of the Heart (Jeffrey Harris, Judy Barron)
6. Dangling Conversations (Paul Simon)
7. Faithless Love (J.D. Souther)
8. 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover (Paul Simon)
9. Haven't We Met? (Kenny Rankin)
10. For My Wedding (Don Henley)
11. If I Should Fall Behind (Bruce Springsteen)
12. ? {You Better Get Out of Here} ?
13. So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright (Paul Simon)
14. ? {Mouse song} ? by bassist Jeff Carney (?)
15. Why Can't I Forget? (Jeffrey Harris, Judy Barron)
16. Turn, Turn, Turn (Pete Seeger)
