These two legendary humorists did not disappoint! I had thought that the evening would have Gregory and Sahl in conversation together, but it turned out to be two separate acts. Some of the jokes were oldies, but overall the acts of these two senior comics seemed fresh, timely, and masterfully delivered.

Very enjoyable to see the comics in person. Each went for about an hour (Gregory a bit more than Sahl). But Goldstar members should be warned that the maitre d here sits Goldstar members in the lesser seats. My friend and I showed up very early and when I asked if it was okay if we took a different table that was father away but more to the center, he said, "no, you have to sit here, Goldstar."

Disappointed that the Maitre D labelled us as Goldstar attendees and gave us seats in the corner behind the piano. Refused to move our seating because were Goldstar.
Does this always happen at the Rrazz Room?

Both are still on their game. Based on the publicity photo, I expected they would appear together, but I think the separate sessions were great and probably better suited their different styles.

I truly enjoyed the event. Because these are two iconic personalities, I believe that they should have performed solo. Dick Gregory was current with events going on and Mort Sahl has a historical contribution with humor. It was hard adjusting from one type of humor in time to another.

Fantastic evening .. starting with the Maitre D who really loves his job. The ads were definitely misleading since they were not on stage together. They are both still great comics. Dick Gregory at 76 is still on cue and really funny .. especially when he rolls his eyes at you. Could have listened to him longer. Mort Sahl at 84 is really starting to show his age .. Maitre D helped him to the stage. Although his delivery was a bit slow and sometimes forced, he still has a fantastic wit and delivery. II only hope I'm that sharp at their ages.

I thoroughly enjoyed what turned out to be two shows with two wonderful comedians - lots of political material - both Mort Sahl and Dick Gregory were funny, inforrmed and strong in delivery. My only disappointment was that I had expected a joint act in which they played together and with us. But it was totally enjoyable.
It was a small enough venue so that even though we were seated in the back side banquette, we could see and hear really well.

The legends haven't lost a step. The wit was razor sharp and the social commentary was original and poignant. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be able to see these giants in an intimate setting.

Difficult to articulate because both have been such geniuses in their days. They were never together! The pictures and posters are really misleading. I wanted to see them sit together and talk. Their material, while enjoyable, was nowhere near the sharp stuff they used to do.
I guess I was just disappointed.
I loved the Maitre 'D at the Razz Room, and felt that our seats were great!

Both of these legendary comics are still remarkable, and very up to date. The Rrazz Room is comfortable, well managed, considerate and well trained staff.

The two comedians lived up to their names. They were great. They appeared one at a time, telling their jokes and stories. There was a full house the night we attended (Thursday). We enjoyed it immensely.

Both gents were in fine fettle! However, the maitre'd who seated us was terribly overbearing, telling each new group he seated who else already was in the room - somebody needs to shut him up!

The event was terrific! Dick Gregory spoke for around an hour, and he was fascinating. Most intelligent, very funny, and brilliant.
Mort Sahl came on after Gregory was finished, and he was a delight.
He reported may stories from the past and was fascinating also.
We enjoyed the evening enormously!!

We almost thought we wouldn't get into the club and got about the last 2 seats in the house. Dick Gregory's mind doesn't work like everyone elses and it was fantastic. We left a little bit into Mort Sahl: he was funny but it was a very different, Johnny Carson style, of humor and we were tired.

A special privilege to see two icons of American comedy, both long in tooth but retaining their faculties ( and satiric edge). Mort Sahl was especially engaging, sharing his humor experiences with our past Presidents.

Dick Gregory was very good...Mort needs to look at more places around the room as he seemed to be just talking to the left side of the room & never acknowledged the right side...overall it was fun & I am glad I went.
