Griffin began performing at the age of 7 with the San Francisco Boy's Chorus where he shared the stage with Nat Cole, Leontyne Price, Paul Robeson and Johnny Ray. He's soloed with Duke Ellington, sung with Sammy Cahn, recorded with Vernon Alley and has worked with many other top artists. Guest artist Desiree Goyette will also perform during a lovely afternoon of songs you love.

In their early '70s heyday, the Dramatics were an anomaly: a Detroit singing group signed not to their famed hometown label, Motown, but to the legendary Southern soul label Stax/Volt. Their sound, as heard on hit singles like "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get" and "In the Rain," straddles both worlds, combining the Temptations-like silky-smooth harmonies of Motown with the earthiness of Memphis-style soul.
