Funny solo performance.Written on Feb 06 2012
Well acted with a good story that kept my interest throughout.
The performer was a good piano player and singer and songwriter, too.
Fortunately, although there was music interspersed throughout, this was not a musical.

Though there were some good moments (and the set is terrific for such a small show), this autobiographical memoir never really finds its feet -- or its direction. A collection of memories does not a show make. Some editing and focus is required.Written on Feb 06 2012

This play was dreadful and long winded and made little temporal sense. No women who are barefoot and pregnant, no commercial dryers, no dishwashers in St. Louis in the 90's? - doubtful. Had I sat closer to the exit, I would have left.Written on Feb 17 2012

About the Ticket Supplier: SF Playhouse
The aim of the SF Playhouse is to provide a creative home and inspiring environment where actors, directors, writers, designers and theater lovers converge to create works that celebrate the human spirit. Founded by Bill English and Susi Damilano in 2003, SF Playhouse is Union Square's intimate, professional theatre. Using professional actors and world-class design, the SF Playhouse -- which won the Bay Guardian's 2006 Best Off Broadway Theatre Award and about which the San Francisco Chronicle raved "San Francisco's newest theatre isn't just another tiny stage carved out of a storefront...it's an enticing introduction to a new company" -- has become an intimate theatre alternative to the traditional Union Square theatre fare, garnering 20 Bay Area Theatre Critic nominations in its first year.
