I traveled the Duck Tour w/my mom's cousin and three close friends as part of a birthday celebration. EVERYONE had a great time! We had Captain Crunch who was very good and helped everyone feel comfortable and safe - He even provided ear plugs for folks with sensitive ears to the (too loud) music on board or to the engine [no contest btw engine and music: latter won]. One "criticism" of him is that he punctuated nearly every statement with "Yeah" - no need to add a vernacular affirmative in the middle and/or at the end of almost every sentence. The trip was fun, just the right length, and everyone who wanted had a chance to steer the Duck. Highly recommended!
Everyone has fun aboard a Ride the Ducks sightseeing tour of San Francisco. It’s the best way to tour San Francisco, because it combines fun and music with history and sights. Adults and seniors will have just as much fun as kids, as the captains lead you through San Francisco’s historic streets and neighborhoods and splash down into the Bay and McCovey Cove. It’s the best way for locals and visitors to see all that San Francisco has to offer. Ride The Ducks is the San Francisco attraction to experience whether you visit for just the day, a weekend or a week.
Your captain will en_tour_tain you with stories of past and present. Learn about San Francisco history, the bay, its famous personalities and its impact on the state and the nation. Find out about San Francisco’s role in film, song and sports too!
During the land tour you’ll see:
- Fisherman’s Wharf
- Ghirardelli Square
- Union Square
- And much more
On the water you will see:
- Spectacular views of the “city by the bay”
- AT&T Ballpark
- San Francisco Bay Bridge
- McCovey Cove
- And much more
The tour lasts about 90 minutes with about 25 minutes of that time on the bay.
