    • Yes, I agree. Neither is bringing a child whose parents cannot deal with their bad behavior.
    • It's the symphony - jeans are not appropriate.
    • It's fun to dress up. There's a free cloak room (tips only) too.

    • BART is the best way to get there.
    • Civic Center BART/Muni or Van Ness Muni stops are close.
    • Van Ness Station is only 2 blocks away for us City dwellers.

    • Place and purchase drinks before the performance then they are waiting for you at intermission.
    • Food and drink at symphony hall is overpriced - $10 for a sandwich!
    • Hayes Valley restaurants are close by but book ahead for pre-theatre seatings.
