I love good entertainment at a discount.

I love good entertainment at a discount.

I love to go to the symphony.

Goldstar was given better tickets this time.

For the last several performances I have attended, the symphony gave Goldstar the Second Tier tickets that are to the extreme left or right, even when many middle seat are left unsold.

That is disappointing.

The seats were wonderful — we were in center orchestra only 20 seats from the stage. The pianist and of course the SF Symphony were in fine form and the selections wonderful. Altogether a great evening at a reasonable price!

About Davies Symphony Hall:

Completed in September, 1980 after more than two years of construction, Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall is the home of the San Francisco Symphony.

During the summer of 1992, Davies Symphony Hall underwent a major renovation, enhancing its acoustics to ensure an even better musical experience, and making an already stunning interior more beautiful still.

The San Francisco Symphony's home owes its name to the efforts and perseverance of Mrs. Louise M. Davies, the largest individual contributor to the building.
