Excellent SF Symphony evening in the city via Goldstar! Beethoven & Dvorak played wonderfully; Premier First Tier seats are still quite a distance away, but worth the Goldstar price.

A 51 year old mom

My 10 year old son especially enjoyed hearing the New World Symphony live, and also the Q&A session after the concert.

Natasha Paremski's playing of Beethoven's Emporer Concerto was superbly powerful and gorgeous. I am not normally a fan of Dvorak's New World Symphony. However, Sat. night's performance by the S.F. Symphony caused me to hear the music with "new" ears. I loved it. Have never heard it played better. Nice to see it's being repeated in San Jose at a free outdoor concert on Tuesday.

About Davies Symphony Hall:

Completed in September, 1980 after more than two years of construction, Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall is the home of the San Francisco Symphony.

During the summer of 1992, Davies Symphony Hall underwent a major renovation, enhancing its acoustics to ensure an even better musical experience, and making an already stunning interior more beautiful still.

The San Francisco Symphony's home owes its name to the efforts and perseverance of Mrs. Louise M. Davies, the largest individual contributor to the building.
