star this review starred report as inappropriateThis was my first comedy show, and I would say it was a great experience. At this event, they showcased 15 comedians and each person had about 6 -10minutes. I did not particularly liked this format, because of all the interruptions. The natural flow was not there for me and some of the jokes seemed rushed or condensed. With that being said, the show overall was great. I did have many laughs, and it was nice to see what each comedian had to offer. I would say I really liked at least 10 out of the 15, and the comedians were diverse in age and race.
It's a cozy venue that fits around 200 people, and they really pack it to a full house. I would recommend getting there at least 15 - 30 minutes earlier to prevent having to sit at the comedian's feet. The wait staff were determined to meet their 2-drinks-per-person minimum, but thankfully there was a variety of alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Street parking is also available, on that Sunday night. I would definitely recommend this as a night out with friends who can laugh.

Overall, there was a consistent stream of laughs. The lineup was a mix of just beginning comics as well as those who have been doing a national circuit. It's a pretty small venue so you can get a good view from pretty much anywhere.
Ample parking in the financial district
Cons:
2 drink minimum ($4 for fountain, $8-$10 for mixed drinks), although they didn't really seem to keep track of how many drinks we orderedFood is expensive, and no Fries???? Chips and salsa is $7.75, Nachos 9.75, pizzas $10+
Audience, at least the night I went, was more reserved and older so felt bad for the comics at times because it was a tough crowd.
Because it is a showcase, there's a set time-limit, so you feel like the comedians can't really get into their material and when you do find one you really like, they have to get off stage for the next one.
