Theatre Rhino remounts its hit spring production of the acclaimed 2009 comedy The Habit of Art. Written by Britain's Alan Bennett, whose works include the award-winning Broadway hit The History Boys, this poignant yet raunchily funny play tells the story of the shattered friendship between poet W. H. Auden and composer Benjamin Britten. Examining the unsettling desires of two difficult men, and the ethics of biography itself, it reflects on growing old, on talent and inspiration, and on persisting when all passion's spent. Met with wild acclaim upon its London debut in 2009, The Habit of Art is a complex and fascinating play about the intersection of creativity and desire. Learn More
I went to a Saturday matinee and street parking is fine. I would think that evening parking is also good. I know that one block away, on Pacific, there is plenty of parking because the block is industrial other than Globe Restaurant. A terrific restaurant and only one block away. The Habit of Art travel • Aug 18 2014 star this tip starred

Dr. God Revival is a long-form improvisational format that showcases not only the talents of the Dr. God troupe, but also the host who kicks off the comedy. Based on a suggestion from the audience, the host delivers monologues over the course of the show that serve as inspiration for a series of hilarious, interconnected scenes. Though previous Revivals in Los Angeles have included such superlative Guest Evangelists as Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite_), Guillermo Diaz (_Weeds), and Julie Powell (of Julie and Julia), the most-requested and lauded host has been Matthew Lillard, who has appeared with Dr. God at the LA Improv Festival as well as in Dr. God’s Halloween Eve and Dr. God’s Christmas Shvitz.
Teenager of the Year is the best group in Chicago. Better than everyone. Waaay better. In everything. Best group, best band, sports team, restaurant, car wash. Doesn’t matter. We are the best everything. If you don’t get us, it’s your fault. The end.
