Jason Collins has gotten plenty of attention throughout his 14-year career in the NBA, but never has the spotlight shone brighter -- or with as much intensity -- as when the basketball star became the first publicly gay athlete to play in any of the four major American pro sports leagues in April 2013. Since coming out, Collins has been prominently featured in the public spotlight (he was featured on the cover of Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World") and has had to endure both the best and the worst of the sports world. Join Collins at the Castro Theatre to hear the unique and courageous story of the man who "made it OK to be gay in sports." Learn More
We took the trolley up Market St. to the Castro. Which was a nice ride. Great for people watching and the street scene. The only draw back is full trolleys and wait time. If you have time it's a great way to enjoy the city experience.Office Space info • Aug 18 2014 star this tip starred

Got there early, got a good seat, munched on delicious popcorn and drank a succulent sprite all while enjoying a classic film that I grew up watching. The Q&A w/the cast pre-screening was pretty cool. The highlight for me was watching ROTN w/a full castro theater audience! It was everything I needed for an off-the-hook Saturday night : )
