Writer and comic Bruce Vilanch steps into a role previously performed by Bert Lahr and Red Skelton in this production of Du Barry Was a Lady. Featuring music and lyrics by Cole Porter, the story follows a hapless nightclub washroom attendant who wins the Irish Sweepstakes. An inadvertent dose of knock-out drops transports him to a dream world where he imagines himself as King Louis XV in pursuit of the lovely and mischievous Madame Du Barry. Porter's score features terrific numbers including "Friendship," "Well, Did You Evah?," "Do I Love You?," "Katie Went to Haiti" and "But in the Morning, No." Learn More

The Black Version is a brand new and completely improvised comedy show at the Groundlings Theater created by Groundling alum Jordan Black. The show features an all African American cast of Jordan Black, Keegan Michael-Key, Cedric Yarbrough, Gary Anthony Williams, Daniele Gaither, and Phil LaMarr and directed by Karen Maruyama. They’ve also had special guest performers such as Wayne Brady, Nyima Funk and Angela V. Shelton.
