BATS' shows are consistently fun to watch, and this one was no exception. I loved the LA players who came as well.

Always like the competition between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Top players. Good show.

Description

The S.F. vs. L.A. Theatresports show is definitely one of BATS Improv’s most popular shows of the year.

Theatresports is their signature format – an improv/comedy competition between two teams who challenge each other to perform the most entertaining scenes, play the funniest games, and sing the best musical numbers. It’s all scored by judges and at the end of the night, and one team wins. Everything is improvised and based on suggestions from you, the audience.

But this is not just any Theatresports: Impro Theatre (formerly Los Angeles Theatresports) comes up from Southern California to challenge the Northern Californians on their home turf. Impro is sending three of their top players: Tracy Burns, Floyd Van Buskirk and Brian Jones. They’ll be looking to reclaim the title, which SF narrowly won last year.
