Definitely fun, especially with a group of girls. Some of the vendors' offerings weren't necessarily bargains, and real-woman sizes were scarce, but the atmosphere was uplifting, the drinks were yummy, and the freebies were cool!Written on Nov 14 2008
When the &#*% did Fort Mason Center start charging for parking??? I had to do an emergency U-turn to instead park in Marina Green and avoid their $8 fee.

i got the free tickets, just had to pay the $6 service fee. you get a free goodie bag filled with at least $10 worth of chocolate plus a crap load of other stuff totalling well over $50. with the free booze thrown in the mix (chambord, bacardi mojitos, little black dress wines, and a bunch of light beers)it's a fun evening out with the girls even if you don't shop at all.Written on Nov 30 2008

It was okay but geared for the younger set. Not much for mature women.Written on Nov 14 2008

The goodie bag is worth the trip alone. I have enough aveeno and m&ms to last me a few months. Also got some discount cards for SF restaurants, some girly products, hair bands, hygiene products, etc. There was so much in the bag you couldn't zipper it shut...luckily they let you come in and out of the building so we were able to stash our stuff in the car.Written on Jun 18 2009
Drinks were good, but strong. Make sure you get in the right line for the alcohol you want (three different vodka drinks and each had their own line); that was a bit annoying, but the lines went fast and I suppose they do that so there's only one drink to make and that keeps everything flowing. I liked that the drinks were free - I've been to other trunk shows and only your first drink is free - these were free all night.
Tips - get there early; we were there by 6pm and got right in, later, around 7:30pm, the line was out the door and all those girls in cute shoes looked like they were hurtin'.
Most vendors either sold jewelry, purses or tiny-sized clothes. I'm a size 12 and only a couple of the vendors had shirts that would fit over my girls - no jeans in my size.
No tax on anything I bought. The vendors will take credit cards, but they prefer cash.
Good music, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and it was really fun, especially with a couple girlfriends along to help make decisions on what's cute.
