Freddy Cole Sings the Great American Songbook at the RRazz Room

Full Price:
$40.00
Our Price:

Just in time for Valentine's Day, spend an evening with Lionel Frederick "Freddy" Cole, the youngest brother of Nat "King" Cole. There are certain unmistakable similarities between the brothers' voices and, just like Nat, Freddy plays piano and sings, yet his voice is raspier, smokier and perhaps even jazzier. Freddy Cole is a nonpareil vocal interpreter of the Great American Songbook and a superbly swinging pianist to boot. Head out to the RRazz Room with your sweetheart for a concert to remember. • on Where to Park
Use MUNI - very close to Union Square so everything goes there!
  • on Other
Small enough venue for great views from every seat, but avoid extreme side locations.
  • on Where to Eat
Overpriced ($4 for bad, weak coffee?), so do what you need to do for the 2-drink minimum.

I've been a fan for a long time and have seen her belt songs through the rafters in Broadway theaters. Her song set was decidedly un-showtune, which was a small disappointment but her voice and style and delivery made up for that in a matter of seconds. She was also surprisingly funny and sweet on-stage and off-stage. I was surprised that the band was so large (8 musicians on that small stage looked cramped) and they almost drowned out her voice a few times, but thankfully, Eden still got to show off the power of her voice several times, and the thrill of experiencing that kind of performance was worth it all. Can't wait for her debut CD and hope she comes back soon!

Interesting song choices...dark and introspective, but a beautiful voice and engaging entertainer! Can't wait to see and hear her sing again.

Eden was absolutely wonderful! She has an amazing voice and knows what to do with it Our seats were in the back but were great (the back in the Rrazz Room isn't very far from the front). She is a fabulous talent who I would love to see over and over. I can't wait to get her CD when it comes out!

Eden gave an amazing performance. We had a great table towards the back but dead center. She did a great set that was a little unexpected. Not the typical musical theater fare, but very entertaining nonetheless. I hope she makes a habit of coming through the bay area.
