Members Who Went Said:It was ok..some of them were funny. It's interesting to see the theater performanace.
Anonymous Member I've been to see Killing My Lobster previously and really enjoyed the group...thought the skits were very funny. This presentation was such a disappointment...the skits were not funny at all. I would not recommend it and am now wondering whether I'd go see them again.

More Details About This Event: This summer, school is back in session. School, Killing My Lobster style. Join them as they give history presence. Their new show is called Killing My Lobster Springs Forward, Falls Back, and it's at San Francisco's Dance Mission Theater.
This all-star pajama-jammy jam tribute to cavemen, pilgrims, founding fathers, founding mothers, flappers, hep cats, presidents, prime ministers, ne'er-do-wells and might-have-beens--the greats and the not-so-greats we all learned about in our history books and struggle to recall with the help of Wikipedia. The madness is directed by KML vet Andy Alabran, features members Sarah Mitchell, Todd Brotze, Leslie Waggoner, and three newcomers to the KML scene: Sally Clawson, Joseph O'Malley, and Patrick Russell. The show also features music by Olive Mitra and Mike Smith (KML's For the Very First Time and Faces the Music) and choreography from the Erika Chong Shuch Performance Project's Jen Chien. It's gonna be a show for the ages. Afterall, it's a show about the ages. About Killing My Lobster: Killing My Lobster is, simply, a group of people coming together to do good, funny, creative work. About Dance Mission Theater: Dance Mission Theater is a non-profit, multicultural dance center located in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District. |
