We ate at the Home Plate cafe on Lombard. Very crowded and loud, but good food. A bit of a wait. It was Sunday noon.

The weather was incredible. Sunny and unusual for the city.. I wore Was too warm in thin jeans and top; however, normally you need layers in the city. It was a warm day..

Just a short 1/2 mile walk down from Palace of Fine Arts takes you to Chestnut Street and lands you in the middle of a business district with a multitude of dining choices. We ate Thai at Blackwood - marvelously delicious and beautifully presented dishes!
