, the 33-member International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) has brought its fresh takes on classical compositions to venues ranging from bars to bowling alleys. At this event, the Sweet Thunder Festival of Electro-Acoustic Music, they'll light up Fort Mason Center with a breathtaking blend of electronica and organic instrumentation, covering works by the likes of experimental jazz icon George Lewis, computer music pioneer Rand Steiger, and atmospheric Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir.
