The San Francisco Vintners Market is the first wine tasting and buying event of its kind --- a farmers market-style shopping experience where wine enthusiasts can try and buy wines from more than 200 wineries. The Vintners Market features top local and boutique producers from Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Mendocino, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, the Russian River Valley and other wine regions in the state, along with imported wines from around the world. In addition, ticketholders to the Reserve Room will be able to taste high-end wines priced at $50 or more. Cult Lounge tickets also get you access to that even more-exclusive lounge, where you can try wines priced over $100 per bottle. At this event, you'll be able to find favorite new wines by tasting samples, rather than using guesswork from wine reviews, and purchase your new finds on the spot. Learn More

- Read an <a target="_blank" href="http://culinarywineandfoodmatching.blogspot.com/2012/06/spanish-grape-obsessions-for-all-right.html">article</a> about the upcoming tasting.
Grapes native to the Iberian Peninsula produce some of the hottest-selling wines on the market right now, but not many people know that there are excellent and unique domestic versions being grown, too. Consumers will have the unique opportunity to taste wines produced by TAPAS members in a casual walk-around setting where they can chat with the growers and producers. Many TAPAS members are limited-production, family-owned wineries and will be pouring small lot wines that are not widely available.
The event will include an silent auction featuring special wines and other great items.
