There really wasn't any food tasting event. Just a couple of stands that sold regular food. The salsa class dancing was fun. The instructor had a clear audible voice and had some fun humor to make the class more entertaining. Overall, I wouldn't come early for the tasting. I am already an experienced salsa dancer, so I would just go for the social dancing.
